Crowd Funding

Crowd funding platforms like Kickstarter sound like an unusual way to gather money for a project like this! It is! But perhaps it is the wave of the future with funding for the arts at an all time low?  I find it kind of exciting to be able to bring on backers who can be a part of the process in the beginning. How cool would it be to say, “I helped this movie out when it wasn’t even a movie!”

Backing this project at any pledge level is very important. It encourages others to take the time. I think the time you take to make a pledge will be more valuable to you than the money you decide to pledge. I know my backers have very busy lives. So even the smallest amount makes a difference. I am so excited about this project and believe in the work!  This is the next step in my evolution as an artist. Please join me!

Remembrance

I hope that at some point in your day you will pause and think about the tragic events 10 yrs ago. Point your hearts towards the families and friends who lost someone. Many faiths perished innocently, Christians, Jewish, Muslims, Buddhists, Atheists… We respect each others differences. This is the American way. Don’t live in fear. There is a great human spirit that threads us all together across all beliefs and cultures. Let’s never forget that!
